Privacy Policy
This explains what Krazzy Adventures collects when you use our app or website, why we collect it, who can see it, and the choices you have. Written in plain language on purpose, if anything here is unclear, email us and we'll fix the wording.
1Information we collect
Krazzy Adventures is a community events app, hiking, cycling, camping, and other trips across the UAE. Here's exactly what we collect and where it comes from:
- Name, email, phone, you provide these when you create an account (or your Google/Apple account, if you sign in that way).
- Profile details, bio, location text, gender, avatar photo or color. Optional fields you fill in from Edit Profile. All can be left blank.
- Trip activity, which trips you've joined, waitlisted for, or checked into. Created automatically when you book or check in to an event.
- Trip chat messages, messages you send in a trip's group chat, visible to other people on that same trip.
- Notifications, e.g. a trip being cancelled, or a waitlist spot opening up. Generated by us based on your own bookings; not shared with anyone else.
We don't collect precise location, and we don't run any advertising or analytics trackers in the app.
2How we use it
- To run your account and let you book, manage, and check in to trips.
- To show you and your trip-mates each other's basic profile in a shared trip's chat, so a chat isn't anonymous.
- To notify you about changes to trips you've actually booked, a cancellation, or a waitlist confirmation.
- To respond when you contact support.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3Who can see your profile
Your profile isn't public. Specifically:
- People who've booked the same trip as you can see your name, photo, and gender, this is what makes trip chat and group trips work.
- Krazzy Adventures organizers can see full booking details to run events.
- Nobody outside a shared trip can see your profile at all.
You're in control of this: Settings → Privacy in the app lets you hide your profile from trip-mates entirely, including in trip chat, at any time.
4Third-party services
We keep this list short on purpose, these are the only outside services that ever touch your data:
- Supabase, hosts our database, authentication, and photo storage.
- Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple, only if you choose one of these instead of an email + password account. We receive your name and email from them, not your password.
We don't integrate any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or data brokers.
5How long we keep it
We keep your account and trip history for as long as your account is active, so your booking history and trip chats stay intact. If you delete your account, we remove your personal profile data; anonymized trip records (e.g. attendance counts) may be retained for our own event planning.
6Your choices
- Edit or remove any profile field, anytime, from Settings → Edit Profile.
- Hide your profile from trip-mates from Settings → Privacy.
- Delete your account, Settings → Delete Account, right in the app.
7Children's privacy
Krazzy Adventures is intended for adults booking outdoor and social events, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
8Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Krazzy Adventures after a change means you accept the update.
